Holy Order program, rates may be reduced
Service Description
First comes the theology, the book learning, then comes the practical: when, where, what, why and how to serve at the altar or celebrate the Holy Eucharist; when and how to sing or chant according to the liturgy; how to give homilies or sermons, the difference between them and how to prepare for them; what things are, where they go, how to use them or wear them...and practical experience with them so one serves with confidence and ease for the benefit of those served. Graduation expectation is ordination to deaconate or priesthood in full Apostolic Succession. A distance education ZOOM option is available for those who are unable to attend in person, though ordination must take place in person. We learn by doing, not just watching. Limited room and board is available upon request at a separate cost. Scholarships may be available for tuition and/or room & board depending on funds raised through donations on this website. We offer two sessional seasons per year, fall & winter. Oct., 01 - Dec., 15 and Jan., 15 - Mar., 31. Two year program: aspirant/postulant to Deacon, yr. 1; deacon to priest, yr. 2, may take longer depending on fulltime/part-time enrollment. Students have up to 5 years to complete program.
